vB4 Problem Fine-Tuning Colors/Styles

I just downloaded the
vBulletin 4.1.10 Publishing Suite last night, and so I am a rank beginner in understanding all that there is to do (so please bear with me) :D
I am trying to customize my styles through the Style Manager, and when I pull up the fine-tuned color aspect ... I see everything I want to change (fonts/links/background, etc.) ... but the file says "Obsolete This CSS file is obsolete and is available here for reference purposes only."
So how in the world am I supposed to change all of these variables through the ACP?
