i have downloaded a sql file, and im wanting to install this on a fresh board.

just a few questions please.

after i create a database for the sql file, do i have to install vbulletin first?
like then upload the sql to phpmyadmin?

the sql is for vbulletin 3.8.3 and i have installed 3.8.3 vb and now uploading the sql in that databse using phpmyadmin.

yeah, so, not sure if i was meant to install the fresh vbulletin first of after.

any advice please?

For one of the replacements it says to find: <td>...code..</td>
and replace it with: ... new code...
But the <td> tags are lost, if anyone follows this exactly they will have problems.

OK i tried all the different vb phrases to do this yet nothing ever shows up? any ideas on why? is it broken or something? I just want to display the users birthday in the postbit

hi...I can still log into the members area and see I can still download 3.8.5, however my owned licence expired in march, yet the page informs me that i can still use it.Am I still allowed to install vbulletin 3.8.5 and use it?....thanks:p

Hi I've just installed a donate mod on my website and noticed you can change the font of the text link in the navbar in the settings for the mod.

I have other links to more stuff in the navbar and was wondering if there was a way to change the colours of them and how I would go about doing that?

I've had a go myself looking in styles but cannot grasp what needs doing so as a last resort I've come to ask you nice people :)

I found Navbar Text (Customized in this Style) but this doesnt change the links only the forum title above.

When I try to subscribe to http://forums.dealseekingmom.com using my Google Reader bookmark, it shows all of the latest posts; however, when I go directly to the RSS feed (which is the same one Google Reader uses), it is many hours delayed: http://forums.dealseekingmom.com/external.php?type=RSS2

Any ideas what is causing the delay or how I can fix it?

Also, on our Wordpress blog, we use a plugin to redirect all subscriptions to the same feed to ensure that they're all being counted. Is there a similar plugin for vBulletin available?

Is there a way to set it up so that new members must comment on a certain number of threads before they can actually start a thread?

I have seen this on other forums but I cannot seem to find out how to do it in the admincp.

I'm led to believe the above link SHOULD show me a list of threads I've posted in (not show me the posts made by me) however it shows a list of posts, (not threads).

I have spent way too long on this already, I'd appreciate any help you can offer please. If anyone knows how to show a list of threads that I've posted in (not just threads I've started) it would be great. Needs to be exactly the same as the "starteronly=1" list but also for threads I didn't start (hence the "starteronly=0" tag)
